Like I said, we've got 3o seats. We've got to fill those seats and we still need a few drivers as well. The cost is only $20 and that will cover your food and transportation to the event. Make War

Hey guys,
I've loved this song (Make War by Tedashii) since I first heard it over a year ago. I just stumbled upon this  when I was on break this morning. Tedashii has a great understanding of his purpose and goal in this life. First, He must glorify God in all that he does, and second, he's to use the same medium that spoke to him as a child to speak to today's children and give them a good influence to follow. Check this.

Dance Your Shoes off Flash Mob

posted Apr 15, 2011 7:39 AM by Frank Bosak

More than 2,000 people from Second Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, gathered at Discovery Green in the heart of Houston to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The purpose of Dance Your Shoes Off! was to proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a powerful and celebratory way. Most importantly, each participant left a new pair of shoes on the field for those in need. These shoes will be given to local mission agencies, including Star of Hope, individuals all across the world through our mission partners and mission trips.

CREDITS: The song was commissioned by Second Baptist Church for this event. It is called "Rise Up" sung by Lauren James Camey and produced by Joshua Moore.

NOTE: This event was inspired by our fellow believers in Budapest:

Exciting News from Egypt

posted Mar 25, 2011 6:17 AM by Frank Bosak

In light of all the recent turmoil in Egypt we are so pleased to tell you about a new church being dedicated for the Glory of God. Despite the ongoing threats against Christianity, in what is a Muslim country, brave and faithful believers are choosing to honor God by their act of worshipping Him publicly through the establishing of this beautiful church.

Lying in the Nile River Valley, the dedication of this building reflects the dedication of the congregation who witness to their neighbors that Jesus Christ is indeed the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Please ensure your prayers include this church congregation and all congregations that exist in hostile environments. Remind yourself daily that the freedoms we still enjoy in this country simply do not exist for millions of believers around the world.

Muslims and Christians Protest as One
by Adam Morrow and Khaled Moussa al-Omrani, February 10, 2011
CAIRO – Over recent years, Egypt has witnessed mounting tension between its Muslim majority and its sizeable Coptic Christian minority. But in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, the site of ongoing mass protests against the ruling regime, members of both faiths chant in unison: "Muslim, Christian, doesn’t matter; We’re all in this boat together!"
